How to make money Ebay

     With over 100 million global users, Ebay provides itself to be one of the most valuable sites online business's can utilize.  Ebay allows users to easily sell items, or go into more depth dependent on their settings.  Either way, its extremely easy and great for both beginners and experts.  I started buying and selling legos.  I then moved to trading cards and made over 200$ in profit a week at the age of 12.  Of course I got kicked off 2 months later for inactivity for a week, but that is another story.  

     To make money on Ebay, first try the following steps.  This is my method, and it did work for me.  I will later tell how exactly I made money using trading cards if thats something you'd like to checkout.  The following steps assume the following:

• You have created an account on ebay with valid information (this is free)
• You have a paypal account (no one wants to use credit cards)
• You've confirmed your identity to get your monthly limits to 100 to start you off. 

Next, follow these steps:

Goal Making

1. Make a goal of how much money you'd like to make! Tell yourself right now, I want to make this much.  
2. Make another goal of how much time your going to spend every day, other day, or week on ebay for sure.  
3. Think about how you wanna see yourself on ebay 31 days from now.  ( 1 month )

  What do you wanna sell?

Choose what it is you want to sell.  If your not sure, just browse through Ebay and look at some items.  See if you can find things you'd like to sell.  Maybe something you like?  

Remember, take your goal into account with this.  If you wanna make 100$ a week off of trading cards, your going to have to sell a lot more then if your going to make 100$ a week of movies.  

You can always change this, but its good to have 1 or 2 categories to start off with.

I'm going to say right now.  This is the most important thing.  Pick something that you can buy and resell.  Don't pick something you just find laying in your house if you don't think you can buy and resell it.  I'll talk about this more later.

Research if needed

1. If you don't already, make sure you know a good amount of information about whatever your selling.  Customers may send you messages asking about your product
2. Make sure you know the value of any product you plan to sell. Remember, this stuff is generally always changing!  

Check out your competition

1. See who your versing and what you need to beat on ebay.  Type in what your searching and just look around.  This will also give you an idea of how to price your items and what their ebay value is.  Ebay value can be much different then value for other sites or stores.  They can be cheaper or more expensive. 
2. See how much competition you have as well.  This may affect what item you sell!

Find a way to buy and resell

1. Find a way to buy your item in bulk and sell in smaller numbers.  For trading cards, maybe I'd buy 1000 cards for 50$ (0.05 a card) and sell them in packs of 10 for 1$ (0.10 a card)
2. Always be checking for steals on ebay!  If you want, buy from a site like Amazon to keep a constant item you can buy, buy you can find some real steals on ebay! 
3. Spend 5 minutes everyday checking on this! I mean it! It will present some real opportunities.
4. BUY IT NOW.  I never bid.  if you want, try it.  But buying it now means you know your item is won and coming.  Its faster and easy.  

Start to list!

1. List your item in a few ways with your 100 item monthly limit.  Give each idea 1 week and check out its profit. 
2. Base the quantity by what your selling..Be sensible..don't put 80 items on one possible idea!  You've only got 100 to begin with.

2. Increase your limits by calling ebay support.  They are easy and will just ask for your goals.  Doesn't matter to much what you say.  I just said I'm selling trading cards and their going to fast.  He gave me 300 a month right a way and 500 the next month.  
3. In the mean time, make more accounts if you sell even more then that.
4. Be way way to nice to your customers!  You want them to come back and give you positive feedback.  
5. Comment with any questions!

NEVER GIVE UP!  This is why most people don't try internet marketing and sales.  They give up after a week, month, or longer.  Just keep trying.  Every fail is a learning experience.
